イネ収穫 Rice harvesting

10月24日に研究室の水田で育てていたイネの収穫作業を行いました。今年の夏も暑かったですが、例年と同じぐらいの出来でした。しばらく乾燥した後、脱穀、籾摺り、精米して試食会を行います。
We harvested the rice grown in our laboratory paddy field on October 24. Although this summer was hot, the yield was about the same as usual. After drying for a while, we will thresh, hull, and mill the rice. We will have a tasting party later.
